Jess is certified in animal CPR and first aid through the Red Cross, is an active member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, and is currently working towards completing her Foundation Dog Trainer Certification, and is continuing her education by attending seminars and studying under world-class trainers such as Tony Stokes, Jason Vasconi, Heather Beck.

Sami Snyman

Trainer

Sami began her dog training apprenticeship in 2016, after a lifelong obsession with human and animal behavior. In 2020, she began working as a trainer for Northeastern K9 before joining the Daredevil team in 2022.

Over the last 8 years, Sami has focused intensely on the improvement of the physical and mental health of dogs in her care.  With focused attention to behavior-based cases, such as anxiety, fearfulness, and aggression, Sami is passionate about improving the mental health of not only her client dogs, but their handlers as well. She prides herself on her ongoing education of animal wellness and human mental health to help households find balance in a way that fits their own unique needs.

Sami also enjoys cultivating her education and craft around canine socialization and wellness. She loves educating clients on how to better communicate with their dog through body language and touch. She has worked over the years with her own dogs on social integration, and enjoys passing along these skills to clients looking to improve their own dog’s relationships at home.

In her free-time, Sami lives with her three dogs and enjoys physical conditioning activities, hiking, and traveling (when not curled up on the couch). She currently competes in PSA with her dog, Trout, at Greater Philadelphia PSA Club, and is a current member of the IACP.
